Recruiting Organization: Chicago Architecture Center
The Chicago Architecture Center’s Development team seeks a volunteer to help on various critical projects. The Chicago Architecture Center is the leading organization devoted to celebrating and promoting Chicago as a center of architectural innovation. As Chicago’s forum for the exchange of ideas on urban design, the CAC inspires people to participate in building vibrant communities and demand the highest standard in urban design. The CAC encourages young people to achieve their potential through the discovery of architecture, engineering, and design. Help us fulfill our mission to inspire people to explore why design matters.
This volunteer opportunity is a great way to support our mission while also experiencing life in the non-profit world. This position would expose you to the administrative side of the non-profit field, assisting in back-end support, fundraising efforts, and other essential areas. Volunteers will be able to experience a full view of the development side of a well-established, local non-profit. Reporting to the Director of Individual and Planned Giving, the position will be responsible for assisting with several day-to-day tasks and longer-term projects.
