Upward Bound is a college access program that serves first generation & low-income students with academic need who intend to enroll in post-secondary education directly out of high school. Students who are enrolled to commit for 4 years of high school receive services that include tutoring, academic advising, workshops, 6-week summer program, field trips, and support with the college/scholarship application process.
Volunteers will be tutoring high school level and lower college level Math (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra
2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, and Calculus) or Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), and
ideally comfortable assisting in other high school subject areas as well

The Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) is a non-profit organization established in 1976 to serve immigrants and refugees in Portland, Oregon. IRCO assists individuals and families successfully navigate their lives from cradle through career. IRCO provides programs and volunteer opportunities in the following areas:
