Boke Tower Gardens is looking for volunteer guides to educate visitors on the historic El Retiro home. The ideal candidate to be a guide is passionate about history and loves to engage others in historic topics, enjoys public speaking and meeting people from a variety of backgrounds and knowledge, and are able to multitask. Guides are also responsible for watching for safety risks and ensuring guests are following the tour guidelines.
This opportunity has two shifts. From May 1st to Thanksgiving Day tours are held from 10:45am to 3:30pm Tuesday through Sunday. From the day after Thanksgiving to April 30th tours are held from 9:45am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Sunday.
