Volunteers help assemble Grow Kits that include soil, seeds, reusable fabric grow bags, and an education booklet. Activities will be taping an packing boxes, filling bags with soil, and organizing supplies. Events will be outside or in a greenhouse, be prepared to get your hands dirty. Volunteers have the opportunity to take a Grow Kit home with them!

A collaborative project devoted to expanding and unifying the food growing community in Chicagoland. We are working towards food sovereignty by providing the materials, tools, education and resources anyone needs to garden!

- Must be at least 18
- 2 Hours
- We welcome youth under 18, but would need to be accompanied by an adult. Please note that this event will be outside doing physical activities, so wear shoes and clothes that can get dirty and are comfortable.
