Description
Holly Area Youth Assistance is a PREVENTION program. HAYA has been supporting youth and families in the Holly area since 1963. We are a volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and one of 26 Youth Assistance programs in Oakland County. Each local Youth Assistance office is tri-sponsored by the Oakland County Circuit Court-Family Division, the local school district, and the municipalities thereof. The Oakland County Board of Commissioners provides the funding for a professional caseworker in each Youth Assistance Office. The day-to-day expenses of running a YA office are funded by municipality sponsorship, HAYA fundraising, and private donations.
