S.T.O.R.Y. 727 Hope and Healing 2024 fundraiser Gala, urgent request.
Hospitality Volunteers Needed to greet our guests while creating a first impression. Need to be able to answer questions regarding the program and act as a guide. Other duties to be announced prior to event. First shift 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Second Shift 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Registration Experienced (Three) needed to greet guests and performing financial POS transaction. This is a first impression opportunity that requires top-tier volunteers. Shift is 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Female Assistant for Gala Chair person (One) Duties to be assigned by Gala chairperson prior to the event. Shift is 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
MaleAssistant for the President (one) Duties to be assigned by president. Shift is 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Floaters (five) will be assigned as needed: Shift 4:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. A few of the tasks will be assisting guests, moving chairs, and answering questions. Gala chairperson will give instructions as to what is a needed.
SilentAuction Coordinator (one). Must be experienced to Manage volunteers who will solicit donations prior to the event. Must, organize and conduct all aspects of the auction during the gala. This is the leader of the committee, who coordinates the entire auction and sets the tone. The chair is responsible for the vision of the auction and puts together the agenda.
Silent Auction Committee (Two) Responsible for obtaining the auction items. They may reach out by phone, email, social media or in person to businesses, donors, and the organization's network.
Overseer assists auction committee with the logistics, registering, monitoring the bid sheets, and ensuring items go to the correct bidders. Helping with various tasks, such as setting up the tables, checking guests in and out, and gathering auction items. Keeping tables organized, answering questions, starting and closing out the auction, and distributing items to winners.Helping the auction coordinator, spot bids, and collect money from winners. Shift 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Photographers/ Videographers (Two) needed to capture the entire event. Shift: 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Seeking in kind donation and return for us promoting you to our 1,100 members and our program and on social media. Story 727 retains All Rights to photographs and videos taken by you.
Graphic Artist (one) needed to create a PowerPoint one week before the Silent Auction. Receive mentions in the program. Contact us prior to October 7th.
Security (Two). Must have previous experience in law enforcement or security work.Shift: 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Mission Statement
To improve the lives and futures of the youth in historically excluded communities through personal awareness, literacy development, financial teachings, social activities and travel.
Description
- Established in 2021, by four fathers of St. Pete, FL
- To you improve and/or develop healthy social skills for our youth
- We have hosted multiple events involving physical activities for the youth, family, and friends.
- We have hosted two consecutive, six week, summer camps. Hands on activities, swimming, STEM, financial literacy, arts/crafts, music production, gardening, chess, off site field trips and more.
- We have a weekly feeding program, servicing over 200 people
- Coming this spring of 2024, BARS 2 STARS, a whole development program designed to assess and build mental, physical, and intellectual barriers for individuals, groups, residential, corporate, returning citizens, at risk youth, substance abusers, HR departments, city officials, and more.
- We feed, provide clothing and hygiene to homeless and/or abandoned.
- We create healthy relationships with other community organizations to share resources of assistance in areas, not primary to ours.
- Level 2 compliant, CPR/AED certified, MRT Certified (Cognitive Behavior Therapy ran course)
