Volunteer Opportunity: Donation Room Helper at the Youth Resource Center We are seeking dedicated volunteers to provide weekly or biweekly support in our donation room on Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Shifts are available for 2-4 hours during this time frame. As a Donation Room Helper, you will:

  • Accept donations and issue donation receipts.
  • Sort and store donations appropriately.
  • Assist in determining which VOA facility the donations should be directed to.
  • Help with light cleaning tasks when donations are not being processed.
This is a fantastic opportunity for retired or self-employed individuals who are looking to give back to the community with their time. Our Youth Resource Center supports homeless and at-risk youth, providing essential services, shelter, and resources to help them transition into stability. Whether you volunteer solo or with a friend, you’ll enjoy a fun, relaxed environment where you can listen to music, a podcast, or have a chat while making a meaningful difference!
