Be a Visiting Companion to an older adult in Minneapolis and help end loneliness through the power of friendship!

Bring the joy of building a meaningful friendship into the life of an older adult facing loneliness and isolation. As a Visiting Companion Volunteer, you and your older adult friend can enjoy each other’s company at home, out-and-about town, or wherever you choose based on the schedules and needs each of you brings to the relationship.

Time commitment: Number and length of visits to be determined by you and your new older adult companion, with phone calls, cards, or letters between visits. Most Visiting Companions meet 1-2 times a month.
