Docent
ORGANIZATION: National Park Service
Please visit the new page to apply.
Virgin Islands National Park is looking for those who have experience in a tropical climate, are athletic enough to go through our trails, and have a hunger for learning. Our docents are tasked with the responsibility of "nerding out" over the history, culture, and the biodiversity of the Virgin Islands. Like most docents public speaking and eloquence is required. Docents get the best of both worlds. They conduct programs on trails with visitors from around the world and reconnect locals to their park. As well as getting office time to train, develop, and conduct research for their assigned programming. It is hard work, but an adventure is almost always guaranteed.
