Are you the next Treasurer for Sister Schools?
If you are looking for a meaningful and fun volunteer opportunity, consider joining our Board of Directors as Treasurer.
Great candidates do not need an accounting or finance background. We are seeking someone comfortable with spreadsheets and basic fiscal reports who can communicate about numbers in a way that's easy f or others to understand. Responsibilities include chairing the Finance Committee, which meets online monthly, and attending in-person Board meetings bi-monthly.
Sister Schools is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that has been working in the Seattle area for over 30 years teach ing students global citizenship and civic engagement through service-learning project s with schools in Uganda. Through our program students learn that no matter who they are, what they look like, or how wealthy they are, they have the ability to change someone's life for the better.

Description
Our dual-impact program partners students in the greater Seattle-area with students in Uganda through supply drives, interactive Skype sessions, and service projects. Through our programs, students on both ends expand their educational opportunities, engage with their local and worldwide communities, and discover their unique ability to positively impact other people's lives.
