You can get started in 2 steps: register online (https://givepul.se/ya0rqb) and then complete a self-paced online training. We will show you how easy it is to use our free app to find Little Free Libraries and report any that are missing.

It’s very flexible: search for libraries whenever it fits in your schedule. For your convenience, you will identify the areas around Philadelphia, Camden, or Wilmington that are easiest for you to visit.

Purpose/Impact of the Role: By increasing the accuracy of Little Free Library locations on our free world map, you are helping us to build community, inspire readers, and expand book access.

Responsibilities:

• Explore your neighborhood around Philadelphia, Camden, or Wilmington using the free Little Free Library mobile app.
• If a mapped library is missing, use the app to report it and share helpful notes. (We will reach out to the caretakers of those Little Free Libraries to follow up.)
• If you find a book-sharing box without a charter sign, leave an invitation to join the Little Free Library network.
• Collect information about the book-sharing boxes you find so that we can do follow up outreach.

Training & Resources Available: We will help you get to know our organization and share best practices for visiting Little Free Libraries through our self-paced online training. We’ll also mail you printed invitations & envelopes that you can share with unregistered book-sharing boxes.

Qualifications:

• Curious and friendly
• Familiar with the Little Free Library mobile app or willing to learn
• Able to collect information while on-the-go and share it with us via online forms
• Have access to transportation to get to Little Free Libraries in your community
