Come practice reading with an elementary 1st or 2nd generation immigrant in the Chirilagua neighborhood of Alexandria. Our students are eager to grow in reading skills but need the support of available english-speakers!

We'll match you up for 30 minute sessions to support different elementary students reading in English. You're also welcome to participate in other parts of the afterschool program as well (snack, outdoor soccer/playtime and homework help).

Casa Chirilagua believes in the power of relational bridge building to holistically transform communities.
