We at Andwell, the area's ONLY NON-PROFIT HOSPICE, are seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to provide companionship to our hospice patients. Your presence can bring comfort, joy, and a sense of connection to those in their final stages of life.

What You'll Do:

●Spend quality time with patients through conversation, reading, or simply being there.

●Offer emotional support and a listening ear.

●Engage in activities that bring joy and comfort to patients.

Requirements:

●Commitment to regular visits.

●Ability to listen and communicate effectively.

Training Provided:

●Comprehensive Orientation: Learn about hospice care, the role of a volunteer, and the impact you can make.

●Communication Skills: Training in effective communication techniques, active listening, and providing emotional support.

●Patient Interaction: Guidance on how to engage with patients, including those with diverse needs and conditions.

●Self-Care: Tips and resources to ensure you take care of your own emotional well-being while volunteering.
