ToolBank Disaster Services seeks a part time (up to 10 hours a week) intern, interested in learning more about nonprofits, disaster services, and more. Knowledge of tools not needed! Mostly warehouse work (Aurora off 33rd & Peoria), though there may be an hour or two here and there from home.

This internship can be build however would best serve the volunteer. Specific assistance with grantwriting, development, outreach, and warehouse management are all options of focus. While this is an unpaid opportunity, I am happy to work with your school for credit hours, offer letters of reccomendation, and collaberating on real-life issues and services asking often for your thoughts.

Though this is being called an internship, it could also be a regular volunteer opportunity that could be done by the right person of any age and being a student is not mandatory.

Description

ToolBank Disaster Services is proud to be expanding into the Rocky Mountain area with a new warehouse opening in Aurora. We will use this location to loan tools to other nonprofits and community projects at no charge, as well as deploy to disaster sites for volunteer and services organizations to have the tools needed to assist communities rebuild.
