- Project Leaders are expected to put in a minimum of 8 hours per week and be responsive to emails within 24 hours.

SUMMARY:Support the Human Resources Group by managing a team of volunteers in the area of recruiting and processing. Responsible for communications with volunteer candidates, including sending and requesting applications, conducting interviews, and processing new hires.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs, develops, and maintains the recruitment process in the organization (including its description, recruitment measurement definitions, regular measurement reporting, taking proper actions to close gaps).
- Responsible for communications with volunteer candidates, including sending and requesting applications, conducting interviews, and processing new hires.
- Update and manage the required documents and spreadsheets.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate candidate files, including resumes, applications, and signed documents required for new hires.
- Conducts job interviews for managerial job positions (or key jobs in the organization).
- Manage on average 4-6 volunteers within the Recruiting & Processing Team, holding them accountable for their work
- Plan and conduct bi-weekly recruiting team meetings, including sending agendas, taking meeting minutes, and following up.
- Ensuring tracking documents are being filled out properly and regularly.
- Ensure emails to the general inbox are being checked, responded to, and sorted properly within 24 hours.
- Assisting the team as required with the following:
- Responsible for communications with volunteer candidates, including sending and requesting applications, conducting interviews, and processing new hires
- Checks general email daily for new emails from candidates and maintains an organized system for filing emails
- Provide a monthly report of your team’s progress to the President and Vice President.
- Attend monthly human resources meetings.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Google Apps.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
- HR experience with leadership, job interviewing, and negotiation skills.
- Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional manner when dealing with the public.
- Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Eagerness to continuously learn and develop business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree and comparable work experience (at least 3 years or more full-time paid corporate/non-profit work experience).
