Do you have fun working with STEM professionals, networking, thinking strategically and planning STEM-related events? If you also have a sense of humor, a sense of wonder, and little free time to give each month, then Edheads is the place for you! Edheads is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that ties K-12 classroom curricula to real world challenges and careers by providing free or low cost games (with cartoon characters) to teachers, students and parents.

We are looking for about 5-6 people to help begin and lead an Advisory Board to help the Executive Board of Edheads meet our mission. No prior board participation necessary - this would be a great place to start serving on a board! To begin with, we will be defining what the parameters are for participation, how to vet and train new members, what meetings and agendas look like, and begin meeting a few basic goals. Within the first 6 months, we will elect a Director, Treasurer and Secretary of the Advisory Board. We will establish bylaws, make lists of things or help needed, and quantify goals to be accomplished. A minimum of one donation per year and attendance at 6 meetings a year is expected. We ask approximately 4-6 hours of your time a month. Plans are to host the first meeting in the first half of October 2024. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS LIVE IN CENTRAL OHIO, USA, and have a college education and/or at least 2 years in the workforce.
