About A PLACE OF HOPE INC
Location:
1875 NURSERY RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33764, US
Mission Statement
A Place of Hope exists to help bring hope and wholeness to the area of 33764 and beyond by "bringing people to the table" through programs addressing food insecurity, English language education, educational programs for adults with special needs, resources for foster children, events to build community and other programs for kids, students, adults and senior adults.
Description
A Place of Hope originated from our monthly mobile food pantry and community dinner, we like to call "HOPE in the Park." Through this monthly event, we quickly recognized that our community is desperate for connection with each other, and in need of necessary resources. As a result, we realized we had the opportunity to meet these needs right where they are at in Clearwater, FL. We created a free, weekly English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) course, a program to knit/sew "Totes of Hope" to our local foster care organizations, and yearly "block parties" to offer hope and to enrich the lives of our community members.
