Join Us for DFW Pets are Family! This incredible event helps families keep their beloved pets happy, healthy, and at home by providing free vaccines and pet food. As a volunteer, you'll play a hands-on role in making a direct impact-keeping pets healthy, in loving homes, and out of shelters. Volunteer Roles Include:

  • Walking lines and assisting families with forms
  • Answering questions and providing a welcoming presence
  • Distrubuting pet food
  • Helping with traffic flow to keep the event running smoothly

Spay Neuter Network (formerly KCAAP) is a non profit organization trying to help control the animal population by providing a low cost service for spaying and neutering of cats and dogs. General Information Every day, over 10,000 dogs and cats are euthanized simply because they have no place to call home. Kaufman County Animal Awareness Project, a nonprofit 501(c) 3, was founded in Nov 2003 with the knowledge that the only non-lethal way of reducing pet over-population is to SPAY/NEUTER as many dogs and cats as possible
