We are in urgent need of people to assist us with our sister organization's 2024 resource fair. Together, PAWS/LA and CHIRP LA host a large community event each year, bringing together dozens of local organizations and offering our in-need client bases unprecedented access to a network of housing, pet care, health, wellness, legal and economic resources.
But we need your help to set up and run the event.
Location: Dollarhide Community Center, COMPTON CA
Tuesday October 1st, afternoon pre-event set up (tables and chairs), a few hours in the afternoon.
Wednesday October 2nd, running event, 8 am - 4 pm.
We're looking for a team of enthusiastic volunteers with a desire to help individuals and mend communities.
You do not need to be available for both days, or even for the duration of one day. ANY TIME YOU CAN COMMIT WILL BE VALUABLE.
For more information, or if interested, reply to this post or call Ryan at 213.741.1950 x116.

Mission Statement
PAWS/LA is dedicated to preserving the healing bond between disenfranchised individuals and their companion animals; enriching their overall quality of life; and sustaining their independent living. Since that time, the agency has expanded its scope to assist low-income seniors and any low-income individual living with a chronic or life-threatening illness. PAWS/LA currently serves more than 1,700 disenfranchised animal guardians and their 2,000+ companion animals.
