Recruiting Organization: Prepare + Prosper
Customer Support Volunteers on the Prepare + Prosper volunteer team are the hosts and financial referral enthusiasts of the tax clinics. They make sure things run smoothly and that every customer has an opportunity to talk about their financial situation and interests (if they so choose). As a Customer Support Volunteer, you will:
- Check people in, making sure they have all their paperwork
- Keep people moving through the tax preparation and review process
- Check people out, collecting signatures and giving customers their completed return
- Promote savings and provide relevant referrals for financial topics the customer is interested in
- Provide stellar customer service and maintain privacy
Commitment:
- Attend an info session to learn all about P+P and the details of volunteering
- Complete 7-8 hours of training to prepare for volunteering
- Volunteer for one four-hour shift per week from late January-April 15th (with flexibility when needed!)
How do I know I am a good fit? No previous experience needed! If you have a passion for connecting with people, a knack for communicating detailed information in a clear way, ability to juggle multiple tasks and keep up in a fast environment, then this gig is for you! Bilingual in Spanish, Somali, Hmong, or Oromo is helpful but not required.
How to get involved: Join us for an upcoming info session! Sign up to hear about our info sessions by filling out this interest form today: https://www.volgistics.com/appform/253705773
