I have a need for a volunteer in the Celina area, a gentleman who would like someone to visit, likes to talk, likes to color, likes the Bible, but would like to talk about different things. Sure could use a person that enjoys conversation and does not need a lot of encouragement to start a conversation.

We advocate on behalf of our patients to ensure their comfort and final wishes are being granted. We strive to connect with all of our patients and provide personalized physical, mental and spiritual care.

Description

Providing care and comfort to patients. Opportunities include direct patient visitation and administrative support. We provide feedback to schools for volunteer credit. We provide internships for those in nursing and social work. Travel will be limited, with the exception of internships, which may be only to visit different sites. Our goal is to provide companionship as well as socialization to those who express desire to have a volunteer visit. Our scope of activities may be limitless, we help with light housekeeping, running errands, helping with activities, quiet time to reflect and hear life experiences.
