Are you interested in bringing joy and comfort to those who are facing difficult times? Hospice volunteers provide support through companionship visits, reading, playing games, and more. Patient care volunteers can visit patients in both facilities and homes, and they make a world of difference to the patients they visit.

Description
Would you help us Celebrate Life? People with life-limiting illnesses and injuries can often feel very isolated and forgotten. Just knowing that someone still cares about and values them is one of the most encouraging things we can do for others. We help them Celebrate Life!
The word Adoration means to love, honor, and respect, and at Adoration Hospice these are our core values. Being an Adoration Hospice volunteer is a unique and deeply rewarding opportunity.
Adoration Hospice Volunteers are an exceptional group of caring and compassionate people from our local communities, who help improve quality of life by offering their patients and patient family members support as they face their illnesses and injuries.
Adoration Hospice Volunteers are an invaluable part of our care team. They play a key role in meeting patient and caregiver needs.
Give a few hours a week or a couple of hours a month. It's up to you, with no pressure. Adoration Hospice Volunteer opportunities can include the following:
Holding a hand
Listening to life stories
Playing music
Cooking a meal
Walking a dog
Running errands
Sharing memories
Light housekeeping
Yardwork/Gardening
Writing life stories
Talking with a veteran
Making phone calls
Singing songs
Saying a prayer
Just being a friend!
