ORGANIZATION: Greater Cleveland Volunteers

Serve as a peer to perr or family to family teacher by providing adults living with mental health or their family members with recovery focusd support and education.

Programs are designed to aid, achieve and maintain wellness, provide information, communication techniques and problem solving skills.

Interactive exercises focus on mindfulness, meditation, and practical coping skills.

Must be someone with a mental health condition in recovery or are a family member or friend of a loved one with mental illness.

Mandatory training of 6-8 hours online and 2 day in person training.

Volunteers are asked to conduct 2 classes within 2 years.

Make a lasting impact on those with mental illness.
