Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center | Sat. 10/26 | 12-5pm OR 5-9:30pm
Be part of a spooky fun event for children of all ages! At the Halloween Bash, families will enjoy an evening filled with crafts, games, music, dancing and a balloon drop. Sign up today for a volunteer shift (set-up: 12-5pm; event: 5-9:30pm), and make the Halloween magic happen! A pizza meal will be provided for all volunteers.
SET-UP VOLUNTEERS: 12pm to 5pm (8 volunteers requested)
- You’re someone who loves to make rooms look spooky fabulous! From the creepy (e.g. cobwebs, bats) to essential (e.g. tables, chairs, craft set-up), you’ll work with a team of volunteers and staff to prepare for a night fill with magic.
- Pizza for volunteers at 5pm
EVENT VOLUNTEERS: 5pm - 9:30pm (15 positions available)
- You’re a people person (ages 16 and over) who loves bringing joy to children and families.
- You’ll be assigned one of the following stations: check-in, spooky trail, sensory table, crafts, bounce house, food & beverage, or floating hospitality. All are requested to stick around for clean-up from 8:30 to 9:30 (or sooner with everyone pitching in!)
- Costumes not required, but strongly encouraged! Just keep it appropriate for young children, e.g no scary costumes, and no costumes with masks that cover your face
- Pizza for volunteers at 5pm

Description
Washtenaw County's 27 cities, villages and townships are home to about 325,000 citizens in urban, suburban, and rural settings. This mix of different settings provides many opportunities for education, recreation, business, agricultural, and home life. The two largest cities are Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, homes to two large universities - the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti.
