Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District (RivCoParks)
Spooky Side of Nature, a RivCoParks-hosted event, is taking place at the Jensen Alvarado Historic Ranch and Museum in Jurupa Valley. The event will be on Saturday, October 26, 2024, 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Guests are invited to explore the "spooky side of nature", featuring owl pellet dissections, a Mad Science Lab, a fall craft fair, hayrides, entertainment and a petting zoo.
We're looking for volunteers to help with set-up and tear-down, as well as booth/game station and parking attendees. Shifts vary and we're open to shift requests and accommodations.
Volunteers are permitted and encouraged to wear comfortable, family-friendly costumes.
This is a great volunteer opportunity for students looking to fulfil community service hours. Groups and families are also welcome to volunteer.
Note: The event organizers may have additional volunteer opportunities leading up to the event. Please let us know if you are interested in that option.
If interested, please inquire here on VolunteerMatch, or email Janae Pulido at jpulido@rivco.org.
Thank you!
