We need your helping hands to make this event a magical experience for everyone! Celebrate the start of the Holidays in the City season by volunteering for the Grand Illumination Parade on Saturday, November 23, 2024. We have volunteer opportunities for groups, organizations and individuals. This is your chance to show your dedication to the community. The Parade also offers the opportunity to provide branded volunteers from your organization or company. Be a part in the greatest holiday parade in Hampton Roads!

Banner Carriers:

  • Carry sponsor and award banners in front of the appropriate unit from staging in HP and through the parade route.
  • Estimated Time: 5:00pm-End of Parade
  • Volunteers Needed: 16

Description

The Downtown Norfolk Council (DNC) is a private, not-for-profit membership organization comprised of businesses and individuals working toward a dynamic, attractive and prosperous downtown.

DNC also manages the Downtown Improvement District, a special 48-block assessment district providing services to keep downtown friendly, safe and spotless.
