Help Wanted: AOI Office Manager

Amazing Orphans International (AOI) is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves children and is committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable, orphaned, and abandoned children around the world.

Office Location: 9913 Shelbyville Road, with possible opportunities to travel to our projects in India, Haiti, Africa, and others.

Type: Onsite - Flexible Schedule - Volunteer Role

About Us: Amazing Orphans International (AOI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Housing, Food, Clothing, Medical Care, and Education in a Christian environment to vulnerable, orphaned and abandoned children around the world, with active projects currently in India, Haiti, and Africa.

We strive to create a nurturing Christian environment where children can thrive and reach their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Office Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the AOI office, including administrative tasks, correspondence, and program management.

• Volunteer Coordination: Manage and coordinate volunteers, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and support.

• Event Planning: Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, community outreach programs, and special events.

• Communication: Maintain effective communication with staff, volunteers, donors, and partners. Handle inquiries and provide information about AOI's programs and initiatives.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of donations, expenses, volunteer hours, and other essential documentation.

• Travel Coordination: Organize and coordinate travel arrangements for volunteers and staff visiting our international projects.

Qualifications:

• A Passion for Helping Children: A genuine love for children and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.

• Organizational Skills: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• International Travel: A willingness and enthusiasm for occasional international travel to our project sites.

• Computer Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using email and other communication tools.

• Volunteer Experience: Previous experience in a volunteer or non-profit organization is a plus.
