Join Point Reyes to improve habitat for native flora and fauna by removing invasive plants in the Seashore. Meeting location is at Abbotts Lagoon.


Please wear close-toed shoes and bring plenty of water and a snack. Gloves and tools will be provided.


Where : Abbotts Lagoon at Point Reyes National Seashore.

When : Every other Thursday, September 19, October 3, October 17, October 31 10:00am - 2:00pm


Requirements :

  • Volunteers under the age of 18 need parent/guardian supervision.
  • Volunteers under the age of 18 must bring their completed Volunteer Agreement Form with the parent/guardian approval section signed.
  • Wear clothes that can get dirty. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required, bring layers for changing weather and rain gear if necessary.
  • Bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
  • No experience necessary but be prepared for strenuous activity.
  • Training and tools will be provided.

ATTENTION: You do not need to apply on volunteer.gov to attend the event. Volunteer agreements are available on the day of. Drop-in volunteers are welcomed but volunteers under 18 years old will need a parent/legal guardian signature on our volunteer agreement form to participate.
