Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Bruegala in Downtown Bloomington on Saturday, September 28, 2024. The event is open to the public from 5-10pm.
This year were raising money for The Baby Fold and YouthBuild McLean County!
1. Each volunteer should sign up separately so that we have contact information for all volunteers.
2. There is a 15 minute overlap to ensure a smoother transition, but you can also work straight thru (for example 3:15-7pm) as one person.
3. Please mark your calendar for one of these online Volunteer Orientation dates (Zoom link will be sent before event):
Wednesday, September 25th at 7:00pm
Friday, September 27th at 10:00am
4. All volunteers must be age 21 and over. Most shifts will include walking, standing, bending/lifting heavy items, and other laborious tasks. We will do our best to accommodate requests for certain duties or to volunteer with specific other volunteers, but requests are not guaranteed.
5. Duties include admission, checking IDs, monitoring entrances/exits, garbage, running ice, and assisting with the setup and take down of the event.
*Volunteers get free entrance and 4 drink tickets!*

The mission of the Bloomington-Normal Jaycees is to foster personal and professional development of young adults in the Bloomington-Normal community, encourage community service awareness and advocate for the needs of the community.
Description
The Bloomington-Normal Jaycees are a non-profit, community organization and is a chapter of the United States Junior Chamber International. The Bloomington-Normal Jaycees are actively recruiting young men and women who want to make a difference in the community.
Through leadership and focused continuous improvement of oneself, the Bloomington-Normal Jaycees offer men and women in the age range of 18 - 39 the tools needed to build the bridges of success in the areas of individual development and community development. We offer professional and social opportunities that are unique to our age group.
Monthly business meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month. All members and potential members are encouraged to attend. The Bloomington-Normal Jaycees value the importance of networking and developing friendships, to that end social activities are also planned throughout the year.
