SOFL

Special Olympics Florida athletes will compete in Area 3 & 4 Flag Football & Softball on Saturday, September 21. Volunteers are needed to help with competition assistance, lunch distribution, awards and more.

Please plan to stay the entire shift.

Softball Scorekeeping volunteers must have prior knowledge/experience in softball.

Flag football Scorekeeping volunteers must have prior knowledge/experience in football.

Volunteers will receive:

  • Special Olympics T-Shirt
  • Record of Community Service Hours (Upon Request)
  • Lunch

Description

Special Olympics Florida provides sports training and Olympic-style competition to more than 60,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities throughout the state. Special Olympics Florida is a Level I Accredited Program (highest level of accreditation granted by SOI) and is divided into 11 area programs, which cover over 55 counties.
