Edu Child Foundation Intl works to tackle illiteracy and poverty in Rural Uganda. We raise funds to pay school fees for impoverished children who would otherwise not be able to attend school, with a focus on the girl child.
Our board needs someone to record the minutes of our Board Meetings. These occur quarterly. Since this is an international board we meet virtually, usually on a Friday, around 9am central time.
If you have never taken minutes before training will be provided. Good written communications skills are needed.

Edu Child Foundation International Inc. is committed to tackling illiteracy, early marriage, and poverty affecting the underprivileged in Ugandan rural communities.
As a charitable organization, we are working towards empowering underprivileged rural children, women, and youth in Uganda through education sponsorship, economic empowerment, advocacy, and healthcare support to fight poverty, illiteracy, and other global challenges affecting Ugandan rural communities. We currently support 86 children by paying for their school fees. Eighty percent of our funds focus on the girl child. We hope that by educating young girls and keeping them in school we can prevent them from being sold as a child bride for a bride price.
