The big Day of Caring event, sponsored by Publix will take place this year on Saturday, October 26th, 2024.
The day begins at our kickoff with a welcome and complimentary breakfast which will be held at Jackie Robinson Training Complex.
If you are someone ready to make a difference, Day of Caring is for you! This one-day volunteer event is unlike any other in Indian River County! Each year countless volunteers roll up their sleeves and work together to make a difference in our community. United Way's Day of Caring is a great opportunity for individuals, families, friends, or teams to spend the morning giving back to the community. Join folks from all around this county for an opportunity to make a real difference. Nonprofits often don't have the resources to keep up with all the good work they do- so this is our chance to help them and make Indian River County a better place.

United Way of Indian River County is a locally governed and managed non-profit organization consisting of eight full time staff and run by an all volunteer Board of Directors. We are one of 1,300 locally run United Way affiliates in the country. Last year over 700 volunteers from the community helped further United Way’s activities and goals.
