Help us celebrate the 20th Anniversary of CASL's Kam L. Liu Building by giving back to the community!

Join CASL for an afternoon of cleanup activities around Chicago's Chinatown neighborhood. Get your group together or find new friends when you register and participate.

Starting at 2:00 PM on September 20, we will assign groups to areas of Chinatown to pick up litter and debris. We will provide all the supplies you need (rakes, shovels, garbage bags, gloves). Participants will bring the garbage back to the building for pick up at 3:30 PM. You will then be able to celebrate our block party!

All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt while supplies last!

Mission Statement

Building on the wisdom of generations, CASL catalyzes the transformation of individuals, families, and the community for an equitable future.

Description

CASL is an all-inclusive non-profit agency with over 45 years of experience connecting families and individuals with the vital support they need: providing an educational and cultural foundation for our children, ensuring our seniors live full and independent lives with dignity, enhancing education and training for tomorrow’s workforce, putting immigrants on the pathway to citizenship, securing our community’s housing and financial well-being, navigating healthcare systems and wellness resources, and fighting for equal access to justice. Since our founding, CASL has been rooted in the principles of equity and justice. That legacy continues to shape our efforts today as we strive to champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility at all levels of the organization.
