Appletree Group Campground Host

Caretakers independently oversee the Appletree Group Campground.
Greeting campers, assisting campers with rules and regulations (hunting, fishing, hours of operation, etc.), cleaning and maintaining the campground bathrooms, trash cans, and shower house, and fire pits. Alerting Forest Service Personnel of any immediate safety or maintenance concerns.
Housing: An RV camper site with water and electric hookups is available to the campground host at no cost. No wifi or cell service is available at this location.
Tools: The Forest Service will provide the maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, gasoline, etc.
Reimbursement: Caretakers will not receive monetary compensation for their service, nor will they be reimbursed for expenses.
Supervision: Although volunteers will be operating without direct Forest Service supervision, they will always operate based on the guidance and direction given by Forest Service Personnel.
