EVENT DAY - Saturday September 21 st

Volunteer check in: 7:30am Duties Assigned Day of Event

Run Time: 9:00am

Walk Time: 10:00am

(c) Run

o Run Check in/Bib handout - starts at 8:00am

§ Check off runner name on sheets and give bib/safety pins

§ Assist with registration/confirm runner is registered

o Medal handout at the end of race

o Move water to run finish line

o Cheerleaders, bell ringers at finish line

(c) All volunteers will have a volunteer shirt and we ask that you return it after the event

(c) We have brought back the 5K run this year!

o Check in for the runners begins at 8am and the run begins at 9am.

o We will need help confirming runners’ registration, assist with signing them up, handing out the run bibs.

o Volunteers to work the water stations

o Volunteers to cheer at the 5K finish line and hand out medals

o Assist with breaking down boxes and taking trash to bins

(c) Parking assistance 7:30am - 10:00am

o Volunteers that can help direct cars to parking area, vests and flags are provided

o Identify and direct to handicap parking

o Able to set up parking signs, no parking signs, and barricades

(c) Water delivery - 2 water stations

o Set up tables and chairs at the water stations

o Assist with getting the water to the water stations

o Hand out water during run and walk

(c) Kids Zone/ Pet Hub

o Hand out pet treats, bandanas

o Fill water bowls

o Assist with coloring
