Our Fill My Cup! Adult Literacy and Adult Basic Education Organization is partnering and supporting a fundraiser with one of our key community partners where we conduct our small group tutioring, Amity Presbterian Church, who needs volunteers to serve at the Charlotte Motor Speedway the weekend of Saturday, October 12th, and Sunday, October 13th. We are helping them to expand their reach for additional volunteers for this annual event in which they participate.
We need able bodies that are 18 years and older willing to work scanning tickets, checking credentials inspecting coolers, directing fans, and watching out for safety issues. New volunteers are stationed with experienced workers and provided with guidelines for conduct required by the Speedway, and safety protocols.
Enjoy light-hearted conversation and plenty of laughter. Hurry and sign up, we need 20 to 25 volunteers each day to meet our obligation to the Speedway
Saturday and Sunday food and drinks will be provided to help fuel you through the day!

Fill My Cup! Adult Literacy and Adult Basic Education Services serves young adults, adults and parents connected to our Charlotte - Mecklenburg Community, who need to learn to read, improve their reading, and obtain pre-GED skills needed to become functionally literate. The key adult literacy and life-skill services we provide support and foster key multi-generational family and community engagement skills. Our service delivery model is provided using small group and one-to-one virtual tutoring; using adult learner digital curriculum that provides a blended approach to learning in our adult literacy program to our Learners and Tutors. We provide our volunteer tutors with comprehensive training and support.
