PLEASE NOTE: This project registration is reserved for volunteers who have attended the classroom training portion for the KIB Tree Tender program on September 18th. You MUST sign up to attend the Tree Tender Classroom Training in conjunction with this project.

Are you excited to finally get your hands in the dirt?! We are! The planting season has finally arrived, so sign-up now to complete your Tree Tender training! Together we'll learn how to plant a tree, engage with the community at tree plantings, and practice structural and clearance pruning techniques by tending to trees at a 5 year old KIB project in Dubarry Park. This in-field training is required for new Tree Tenders, and if you cannot attend please email mmeadowsmcdonnell@kibi.org to discuss alternative dates. If you are a seasoned Tree Tender and you have already attended a classroom training in the last year, you will register but will complete regular duties at this project alongside the KIB team.

Safety: We highly recommend wearing weather-appropriate clothing, long pants, and close-toed shoes. We always recommend bringing a reusable bottle for water but we will have disposable cups available if needed. KIB will provide tools and gloves.

Parking: Parking is available in the Dubarry Park parking lot at 3698 Dubarry Rd.
