The West Oakland Community Music Festival is sponsored by Activate Oakland, which is an initiative to activate public spaces and support events to revitalize downtown and neighborhood commercial areas while promoting economic recovery. The event is presented by the West Oakland Cultural Action Network (WOCAN).

The festival will include free food, music, games, vendors, raffles. It is a free event and is kid friendly.
