ORGANIZATION: HEAD INJURY ASSOCIATION INC

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Photographer to capture the essence of our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Resource Fair. This event aims to provide our staff with valuable resources, information, and opportunities to enhance their professional and personal growth. Your role will be crucial in documenting the event and ensuring that the moments and interactions are beautifully preserved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Coverage: Photograph key moments throughout the event, including but not limited to, the opening ceremony, resource tables, staff interactions, and any special activities.
  • Group Photos: Capture group photos of participating organizations and staff, ensuring everyone is well-represented.
  • Portraits: Take professional-quality portraits of attendees and key figures, if required.
  • Action Shots: Document attendees engaging with resource tables and participating in activities.
  • Photo Quality: Ensure high-quality, well-composed images that reflect the event’s positive atmosphere and professionalism.
  • Photo Editing: Select and edit photos to enhance quality and presentation, if time allows.
  • Submission: Provide the final set of edited images to the event coordinator by [Submission Deadline], in the required format.

Qualifications:

  • Photography Skills: Proficiency in photography with a strong portfolio showcasing event or portrait photography.
  • Equipment: Own professional-quality camera equipment, including a DSLR or mirrorless camera with various lenses. (Please specify if you need to borrow equipment or have any special requirements.)
  • Experience: Previous experience in event photography is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to capture important details and moments while maintaining high standards of photo quality.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with event attendees and staff.
  • Reliability: Punctual and dependable with the ability to work independently.
