Are you passionate about financial literacy and empowering families in the Dallas/Fort Worth area? Own It Financial Education is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our upcoming Telethon Fundraising Initiative. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your communication and fundraising skills!

Responsibilities:

• Make outreach calls to potential donors, sponsors, and community members.
• Engage with past supporters to secure contributions for our Telethon.
• Assist in the planning and execution of the Telethon event.
• Provide accurate information about Own It Financial Education’s programs and services.
• Record and report donations and pledges during the event.
• Work closely with the Telethon team to meet fundraising goals.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging phone presence.
• Passion for financial education and community service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable making outbound calls to donors and sponsors.
• Previous experience in fundraising or sales is a plus, but not required.
• Access to a phone and computer with internet access for virtual volunteering.
