Mission Statement

We seek to promote education by assisting underprivileged Children in their pursuit of academic success.

Description

In our project investigation, we discovered that about 70% of children in Kenyan slums and rural communities cannot afford to attend school.

The main reason for the problem is poverty, because parents are fighting to afford basic requirements for their families, and education becomes the last item on their minds. Another element is the cultural and religious beliefs of some rural communities. Some tribes may not see education as a vital necessity for modern children. They prefer that their children participate in other cultural activities such as livestock keeping or farming, depending on the locality.

As a result, families and communities have fallen into poverty. A girl child will end up in early marriages and pregnancy, whereas the male child would end up in early labor to help the parents provide for the family.

We attempt to address this issue by assisting children and their families in covering tuition expenses, returning them to school, and assisting them in furthering their education. This will impact the life of the child, the family, and, ultimately, the community.

We believe that education is the key to an individual’s success and total change, which will subsequently have a good impact on the family if the child excels. They will be able to support their parents and siblings. As more children are educated in a given slum or community, the community will be transformed
