Advocacy Trainer Volunteer

Stop Child Abuse (SCA) is seeking a committed Advocacy Trainer Volunteer to empower our Kakuma and Kalobeyei Refugee Camp team.

This role is essential in enhancing our advocacy efforts for the protection and rights of vulnerable children.

As an Advocacy Trainer, you will guide and support our staff and volunteers, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to advocate for children's rights within the refugee context effectively. Y

our expertise will help strengthen our efforts to raise awareness and promote action on child protection issues.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training sessions focused on advocacy strategies and techniques.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to tailor training programs to the specific needs of the refugee community.
- Mentor team members in effective advocacy practices, including communication and community engagement.

Our mission is to advocate for the protection of children's rights and ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive. We believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where they can grow and develop without fear or harm. Our primary focus is to raise awareness about the various forms of child abuse, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as neglect. We strive to educate communities about the signs of abuse and the importance of reporting and preventing it. Our outreach programs aim to empower children, families, and communities with the knowledge and resources they need to protect themselves and each other.

Stop Child Abuse (SCA) is a nonprofit organization committed to advocating for the rights and well-being of children at risk of abuse and neglect. Founded in 2016, SCA emerged from a deep concern for the growing incidence of child abuse in our communities.
