SkinScan AI is a pioneering telemedicine platform that utilizes Artificial Intelligence to offer instant skin condition diagnoses and personalized treatment recommendations. Users can upload images of their skin concerns, and our AI-driven system analyzes these images to provide a diagnosis, suggest treatment options, and connect them with board-certified dermatologists for further consultation. Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and talented iOS Developer to join our volunteer team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the SkinScan AI iOS application. You will work closely with our development team, AI experts, and UX/UI designers to create a seamless and user-friendly experience for our users. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an innovative project that leverages AI to improve healthcare access.
Key Responsibilities:
- App Development: Develop, test, and maintain the SkinScan AI iOS application.
- Integration: Integrate AI models and APIs for image analysis and diagnosis within the app.
- User Interface: Collaborate with designers to implement an intuitive and user-friendly interface.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure the app is optimized for performance, security, and scalability.
- Bug Fixes: Identify and resolve bugs, ensuring the app runs smoothly across different iOS devices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including AI developers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for code, processes, and APIs.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C for iOS development.
- Experience with Xcode, iOS SDK, and version control (Git).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and frameworks.
- Knowledge of integrating machine learning models into mobile applications is a plus.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in developing and deploying iOS applications.
- Experience in telemedicine or healthcare-related applications is a bonus but not required.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Good communication skills, especially in a remote work setting.
- Passion for using technology to solve real-world problems.
