Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mediasoup WebRTC Technology Developer to design, develop, and maintain the real-time communication layer of our telehealth platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of WebRTC protocols and experience with Mediasoup, enabling them to build scalable, high-quality audio/video communication features that meet the stringent requirements of telehealth applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain real-time audio/video communication features using Mediasoup WebRTC technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate communication features seamlessly into the MedPal AI platform.
- Optimize the performance of the WebRTC stack to ensure low latency and high-quality streaming in various network conditions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WebRTC connections, media quality, and server performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in WebRTC and Mediasoup to continuously enhance the platform’s capabilities.
- Ensure the security and privacy of communications in compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: 3+ years of experience working with WebRTC technology and at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Mediasoup.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js, and experience with Mediasoup, WebRTC APIs, STUN/TURN servers, and media server architectures.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to real-time communication.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Healthcare Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding of telehealth platforms and healthcare data security requirements (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
