By joining our team you’ll get the opportunity to:
- Undertake free comprehensive training, online or in person
- Facilitate thought-provoking discussions amongst primary school students
- Learn new skills in facilitation and classroom management
- Learning about philosophical ideas and principles
- Have access to continued professional development and expert lesson materials
- Volunteer within your local community at a school near you
A commitment of only 1 hour a week is required to volunteer, which includes a 30-minute class and preparation. Opportunities exist at many public schools, allowing you to volunteer at a location that suits you. No experience is necessary and all training and lesson materials are provided.
Primary Ethics is an inclusive organisation and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and experience levels, so if you are over 18 and want to give back to your community, we’d love to hear from you. For further information, go to www.primaryethics.com.au.

About Primary Ethics
Location:
Suite 303, 24-30 Springfield Ave, Potts Point, NSW 2011, AU
Mission Statement
To support children to develop skills in critical thinking, ethical reasoning and respectful discussion by enabling community volunteers to deliver ethics classes in public schools.
Description
Primary Ethics classes for children run in hundreds of schools every week. Ethics lessons invite children to explore everyday ethical issues such as truth and lying, whether something is fair or unfair, cheating and friendship.
Our impartial volunteers present stories and questions which encourage children to consider what they would do in typical situations. The students develop skills that are essential in our complex, pressurised world - becoming ethical decision-makers who can think critically, give evidence-based reasons for their opinions and who are able to have attentive discussions and respectful disagreements with others.
