With over 20 years of experience, our organization relies heavily on the support of generous donors and the community to continue our mission.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grant Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in securing funding for nonprofit organizations, with a deep understanding of animal welfare issues and the unique challenges faced by rescue organizations. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and managing grant proposals and reports to secure financial support for our rescue programs and initiatives.

Texas CARES is a non-profit animal welfare organization which provides for homeless and unwanted pets, primarily cats and kittens, in the North Texas area. We are a no-kill, all volunteer organization who rely on foster homes to house its animals until permanent homes are found for them.
