Program Coordinator, Volunteer Opportunity
Empower change by utilizing your professional expertise to ensure that community members and youth in particular have to face challenges like inequity, poverty, food insecurity and gun violence.
As the Program Committee Coordinator for Season to Soar, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the coordination and execution of the organization's key programs.
- Our Global Leadership Youth Program that teaches 5-8th grade students in underserved communities to be global citizens and global-minded leaders is our flagship program.
- Additioanlly, we execute Global Leadership in Action Programs that align with our mission to foster global citizenship and uplift underserved communities. For example, school supply give ways, park clean and more.
Responsibilities:
- Help plan and execute Season to Soar programs aimed at uplifting undersrved communities
- Ensure successful implementation of the Global Leadership Youth Program and related activities, delivering desired impacts for school partners, parents, and youth participants.
- Actively engage in regular Committee Meetings to discuss progress, formulate strategies, and tackle challenges effectively.
Time Commitment:
- 30 minute weekly committee meeting.
- Estimated commitment of 2 hours per week executing projects indepently, outside of meetings
- This position has a term length of 1 year.
