Our hospice pen pal volunteers write personalized cards or notes to our patients and families receiving hospice care. These cards can contain words of encrouagement, celebrations of milestones (such as birthdays or anniversaries), or any positive message about the patient's life and interests.
All materals for the cards, envelopes and stamps are provided to the volunteer, along with screening and training to become a volunteer. This is a virtual opportunity that can happen from anywhere!
If you're looking for a meaningful way to touch the life of a hospice patient, this opportunity is for you!
