Help weed, water, blow leaves, tidy, and plant! The gardens at the Waveny Inn on Oenoke Ridge bring great joy to our residents and community members. We are recruiting help for the Fall season to assist the Executive Director of the Inn with this ongoing project.
Flexible timing and commitment level, open to all abilities and ages, families, individuals and groups.

Over the past 110 years Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Fairfield County has helped thousands of individuals, and their loved ones cope with terminal illness with comfort, peace and dignity. Joining forces with Waveny in 2021 VNHFC enabled the Waveny volunteer program to expand to offer opportunities at the New Canaan Thrift Shop and as part of the hospice and bereavement support volunteer team.
Our Volunteer program impacts the lives of our patients, residents AND volunteers providing enrichment, social connection, purpose and opportunities to learn and grow while making a difference!
As a nonprofit organization, we are a mission-based provider of healthcare, housing and support services to approximately 2,400 people every year.
