Join us for EcoAction Days, a monthly volunteer event that offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in our community. By participating in this one-time experience, you can help protect and restore natural areas in and around Miami-Dade County. Our team of professional naturalists will guide you through various projects, such as removing invasive plants, planting native species, mulching, and cleaning up garbage. Together, we can make a positive impact on our environment and preserve the beauty of our nature centers and parks.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Removing weed or invasive exotic vegetation removal
- Planting and mulching
- Cleaning up garbage
Qualifications: Volunteers under 13 must participate with a parent/guardian present.
Commitment Expected: Please arrive at your scheduled start time and practice social distancing. Community service hours will be provided at the end of the event.
